I have been a solicitor since 1979 and I have represented lesbians and gay men for almost 30 years. In the 1980s and 1990s I represented many lesbian mothers fighting for custody of their children and gay fathers seeking contact. I also acted in the first adoption applications by lesbians and gay men.
I advise on pre-civil partnership agreements and on dissolutions and financial settlements. I also advise on parenting agreements and disputes between parents and parents and donors.
I act for clients bringing claims where their partner has died and proper financial provision has not been made.
