I am a Partner at Russell-Cooke solicitors, based in Bedford Row in Holborn.
My practice is exclusively family law, predominately specialising in the legal and financial ramifications of relationship formation or relationship breakdown. In addition to having extensive experience advising on matters relating to civil partnerships, I am also reputed for my expertise in relation to cohabitation or property related litigation. Many of the matters on which I act involve complex financial issues, often trust related, frequently having an international element. As both a Mediator and Collaborative Family Lawyer, I am well-known for my constructive approach and my commitment to exploring out of court solutions wherever appropriate.
I am a member of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society which drafts Codes of Practice for Family Law and presents proposals for family law reform to Parliament. I am also an active member of the International Association of Collaborative Practitioners, Resolution (where I sit on the Parenting After Parting Steering Committee), and the Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association (where I sit on the Family Law Working Party).
